The AMR200 series is a family of contactless smart card readers which range from a simple short-range reader only to a full featured reader complete with keypad and backlit LCD. Based on the industry standard Mifare? technology, each AMR200 series reader incorporates the contactless smart card technology into a single piece construction and easy-to-mount packaging.

The built-in Wiegand communication interface allows straight forward migration from any existing reader. The RS485 communication interface option allows full exploitation of smart card technology for integration into a wide spectrum of applications. The contactless nature of smart cards and smart card readers greatly enhance user convenience and improve operational performance.
